Little miss ONEderful!
We had the best time celebrating our little miss Tomi Jordyn at her Daisy themed 1st birthday party. I saw this post on 100layercake.com and instantly knew I wanted to try and recreate every detail! Along with some other pins of daisy decor, and some personal touches – here is what this inspiration helped me to create for Tomi’s first birthday party.

I used this same high chair for my older daughters 1st birthday. I thought it was perfect for smash cake photos. I found it on Facebook marketplace. This daisy party dress is from Target, as with the sandals. The sunglasses were party favors and were from amazon.

I was obsessed with the idea of this simple daisy cake! I found these mini white fondant Daisys for sale all over Etsy, and tried to calculate/guesstimate how many I would need to cover an entire cake! I decided it would be around 300 for a cake the size of the one on the 100layercake.com blog post. However, I decided not to do the main smash cake with the Daisys. I didn’t want to put them on the cake, only to take them off before giving the cake to my 1 year old! Those are for sure a choking hazard!! Instead, I just made the smash cake with the same recipe I used for my older daughter, Carli’s, 1st birthday. I decorated the cake with naked frosting and put a few Daisys on top for decoration (that we of course took off when it was time to smash!) Then, just to satisfy my desire to have a cake with these adorable Daisys, I used a keto vanilla cake recipe and Birch Benders keto vanilla frosting to make a cake that I would be able to eat at the party! Topped it off with this cute and simple O N E cake topper from Etsy, and it was picture perfec

For the Party Bags/ Gift Bags for the kids I used white paper bags, and filled them with Play doh, bubbles, Annie’s Fruit Snacks, and then they could also take a pair of sunglasses. I glued on some of the cut out flowers and paper that matched the theme. Balloons were assorted. These packs of mauve and yellow balloons were purchased from amazon. The gold, white and yellow/gold polka dot were from target, and were seasonal with the Grad decor I think. I ordered a basic balloon garland kit from amazon like this one. **Links to available products will be at end of post!!**

Meri Meri is one of my favorite party supply stores. It is so cute! This is where I got the adorable daisy paper plates. The cupcakes came from a local bakery, and I added these daisy cupcake toppers from Etsy. The flowers were all from Trader Joe’s. I am stoked that my theme matched up with the season to buy these flowers from TJs!! I probably spent $20 on flowers to decorate for the whole party. A little bit goes a long way with the chamomile and baby’s breath, plus they are affordable flowers so a big bunch doesn’t cost you too much! The white vases were from amazon. I also used a few random vases I already had, some came with flower deliveries, a few from our wedding, and a few mason jars. For the cupcake towers, I just stacked up cake stands. The large white cake stands are from World Market. The smaller sized cake stands were bought at different times from the target dollar section. Th gold cake stand is also from Target.

Hi! May I ask where you got the pom poms to decorate the Daisy’s and the topper for the party hats?
